Feds file criminal complaint against 10 alleged Russian spies (The Newsroom)

The Newsroom - In a condition that reads like a less violent version of "The Bourne Identity," the U.S. Deparment of Justice has filed two sprawling criminal complaints today that claim to uncover a vast network of alleged Russian moles living in Fresh York Megalopolis, Fresh Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Washington, D.C., who were tasked with gaining access to U.S. policy makers. The complaints charge the defendants with conspiracy to act as unregistered agents of a foreign administration, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The complaints allege that Russia maintained what it calls an "illegals" program, consisting of a "network of [Russian agents] ... living and operating in the United States in the supply of one primary, extended-term goal: to become sufficiently 'Americanized' such that they can gather data about the United States for Russia, and can successfully recruit sources who are in, or are able to infiltrate, United States policy-making circles."
